A trip combining business and private travel
If you plan meetings followed by a holiday or family visit, explain both parts. Your employer letter, Canadian invitation and itinerary should agree about which dates and expenses relate to business.
Check the activity you will undertake in Canada. A visitor invitation does not automatically permit employment or contract work; seek appropriately authorised advice if the activity may require different permission.
